The Field

The Players and Formations
Six players on the field; 8-woman roster minimum. 15-woman roster maximum.
Three (3) offensive players must line up on the line of scrimmage.
The ball can only be advanced past the line of scrimmage if an exchange is made after the snap from center.

Timing
Four 10-minute quarters. 25 second play clock.
Each team is allowed two (2) timeouts per period. 2-minute breaks between quarters.

Movement of the Ball and Scoring
Four (4) downs are allowed to advance the ball to the next zone line or to score.

Coaches
Most start up teams have volunteer coaches.
